Improve complexion & feel oh-so fresh with this stunningly effective clearing exfoliant. Rich in vitamin C, antioxidants & delicious fruit extracts. Your skin will be left feeling clean, soft & replenished. Gift yourself a dose of daily happiness.
All skin types.
Star dust face exfoliant is the most delicious sweet scrub packed full of heaps of Vitamin C which boosts your skin's collagen production to give you firmer, more plump skin and smooth out fine lines and wrinkles. The antioxidant properties of vitamin C help fight free radicals and damage caused by UV radiation. The result is anti-aging action for younger-looking skin!
*Please note, before use you may need to mix to recombine the sugars to the fruit extract as the sugar tends to sink if sitting - use the end of a teaspoon or baby finger to mix and apply to face*
What to do:
Use 1-2 times a week for a yummy scrub mask while you are in the shower (resist the urge to eat it off!) Apply to a wet face, massage into pores, leave to sit while you finish your shower jobs, then wash clean with a warm cloth. Follow with Ora's Pink Moon Calming toner mist and finish with a pump of Moon Gypsy Serum or Sol Gypsy All beauty oil for maximum glow.
Pineapple fruit extract, Hibiscus Flower, Harakeke extract & Sweet Orange* essential oil in a fair trade sugar exfoliant base.
Pineapple Extract: Pineapples contain Vitamin C, Antioxidants and an enzyme called Bromelain. Bromelain can help to exfoliate the skin as well as promoting a clear complexion
Hibiscus Flower Extract- Hibiscus flowers are a natural source of alpha-hydroxy acids (AHA’s). AHA’s can be useful as gentle exfoliators and to clear pores promoting fresher, smoother looking skin.
Harakeke Extract - Harakeke was used topically in traditional Maori herbal medicine or Rongoa for skin irritations and dry skin conditions.
Sugar - a natural humectant, meaning it draws moisture from the environment into the skin. So when you apply products with sugar or sugar derivatives, they'll actually help hydrate your skin and keep moisture within. Sugar is a natural source of glycolic acid, an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that penetrates the skin and breaks down the "glue" that bonds skin cells, encouraging cell turnover and generating fresher, younger-looking skin. Glycolic acid is typically used to treat sun-damaged and ageing skin. Because it can be irritating to certain skin types, over-the-counter products typically contain less than a 10 percent concentration of glycolic acid in their formulas.
